Hi, I’m Dr LaReesa.

I once heard someone say that when you think about your life’s passion and about gravitating toward your destiny, it’s helpful to start with what frustrates you. Ask yourself – What gets under your skin? What drives your inner spirit? My answer: Mediocrity.  I think in optimal possibilities, and I am humble and grateful for what God has granted me. The talents, time, and tenacity go after my dreams, and I want that for my patients too.  

As an OB/GYN, I have an impactful job that I love because there is nothing I love more than working with and helping women. I have shared incredibly private moments with my patients, where they bare their hearts and souls and secrets that often aren’t shared with spouses or other loved ones. Even after the clinical visit ends, I have lingering thoughts about how I can go beyond the office visit to continue the dialogue – a dialogue that will impact countless women and the quality of their lives. In medical training, you “see one, do one, teach one.” Oftentimes, however, it is only the “see one, treat one,” with little time left to “teach (and transform) one.” This is what we need more of today—teaching, inspiring, empowering—so that others can make their own transformations. Plus, add the opportunity for execution…..NOW!

And this is why I created the AGE WELL THRIVE NOW series.

Dr. Valerie Cacho is an integrative sleep physician, speaker, writer, and sleep wellness consultant. Additionally she has been rated as a Top Sleep Doctor and Exceptional Women in Medicine in Hawaii for the past several years.

Dr Swathi Varanasi,or Dr. Swathi for short, is a pharmacist passionate about the intersection of personalized medicine and innovation.

With experience spanning patient care, biotech, CRO, academia, and CPG, Dr. Swathi has paved the way for healthcare professionals to pursue non-traditional career paths through creating postdoctoral training programs, industry internships, and online educational programs. She co-founded and serves as Chief Scientific Officer of the Life Sciences Division at botanical biotech, Element Apothec, and serves as a Principal Investigator at contract research organization, Citruslabs.

Dr. Swathi serves as faculty and has guest lectured at colleges and universities across the country.
